Coffee Labs Roasters, a small, but expanding specialty coffee roastery and coffee house located in Tarrytown, NY is looking for highly experienced baristas who are able to work in a very fast paced but fun and friendly work environment.

Coffee Labs works with some of the best coffee farmers in the world, and we ethically and directly trade many of our coffees from all over the world. Our ideal candidate will have just as much of a passion for coffee and the coffee industry as we do.

Qualified candidates should:

-Have at least 2 year of experience as a barista in specialty coffee, and be familiar with the specialty coffee industry in general.

-Be able to efficiently and effectively operate an espresso machine, often under high levels of stress.

-Have a very positive attitude and be able to work as a member of a team.

-Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and up to 150 assisted.

-Always be able to work with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, no matter the time of day. Morning shifts start as early as 5:15 am, and weekend shifts end as late as 10:30pm.

-Be able to commit to at least 2 years as a member of our team.

-Have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays when necessary.

-Be able to perform some light management duties including delegation and money handling.

Compensation will be $13 per hour + tips. Negotiable depending on experience.
