Job Description

CAMP DAVID is a new coworking space opening in Industry City, Brooklyn.  Founded by Mazdack Rassi and Erez Shternlicht, the first phase of Camp David comprises three floors of creative work space, featuring a full service cafe and coffee bar.  The individual in this role will be a front facing representative of the brand and our commitment to hospitality.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, specialty drinks, and teas

• Prepare and service select food items

• Assist GM in food and beverage programming and management

• Operate POS system

• Ensure work area is clean and sanitized, including sanitizing utensils and equipment

• Monitor inventory of supplies and product reporting to GM with updates as necessary

• Regularly perform general and preventive maintenance on machines used for coffee making and food preparation

• Perform opening and closing duties for every shift

• Maintain exceptional customer service and hospitality standards
  

Experience and Requirements

• Prior Cafe/ Barista experience required

• Strong passion for hospitality

• NY Food Handlers Card preferred

• Must have strong verbal communication skills

• Understanding of the Camp David mission and values
