Bushwick Grind Cafe is a local Mom\Pop Shop with an expressed goal to make a major impact in the community we serve. We now welcome resumes for an experienced and skilled barista who can lead \manage our coffee program. In this role, the ideal candidate will excise various brew methods to make amazing coffee. They will tune recipes based on the multi-roasters we carry and ensure there are consistent pours throughout the team. They will assist with weekly team schedules, run quarterly calibration meetings and take keen awareness of the upcoming coffee offering from our partners.

In addition to these tasks, managing inventory and updating the Barista handbook is also in scope for this leadership role.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of recent, working, Barista experience in specialty coffee. Culinary experience is a plus. Without exception, this role requires amazing customer service, reliability, comfortability with independent work, and stong leadership skills.

Compensation starts at $18+ an hour based on experience.

• Strong organizational skills, ability to plan ahead and predict the needs of the cafe
