Vineapple Cafe is looking for a friendly and experienced barista to lead the team in our café on Pineapple Street in Brooklyn heights. In its 11th year (3rd year under the current concept and ownership) Vineapple is a neighborhood institution and we take pride in serving the best coffee in Brooklyn Heights.

We are looking for a reliable, hard working, and experienced barista to work active shifts while also performing certain management duties outside of their barista shifts. These duties will include on going staff training, management of the physical space, ordering, and various other day to day tasks.

Compensation will be a base wage of between $15 and $20 per hour + tips when active in a service roll and this position will have a guarantee of at least $30 per hour average per weekly paycheck. The right candidate will have:
• At least 2 years of craft coffee experience
• A friendly and pleasant disposition
• Availability to work full time including at least one weekend shift.
• A positive attitude and problem solving skills to handle issues as they come up.
