**Requirements:**

– Must be consistently up-to-date on all updates via Slack, Notion, and Weekly Updates
– Must be able to consistently work on weekends, both Saturday and Sunday
– Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all cafe offerings
– Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and walk for up to 8hrs a day.
– Must be a full-time employee
– Must be able to work both Saturday and Sunday on a regular basis. The employees choice of schedule will be prioritized outside of this requirement. (Exceptions can/will be made with prior approval from Management/Hiring)
– Pay starts at $48,000/year + tips (Will work minimum of 32hrs in the tip pool.)

**Extra responsibilities for Lead Barista beyond daily barista and shift lead tasks:**

*General*

– Act as the “Shift supervisor”, leading both Baristas and Shift-Leads throughout the day
– Act as the “Shift Manager” on weekend days, ensuring the whole day runs smoothly while management is away
– Support Shift-Leads through their daily tasks
– Assists with training of new baristas, overseen by management
– Assists with training of new Shift-Leads & Lead Baristas
– Ensure that all Baristas and Shift-Leads are fulfilling all aspects of their role, giving critical and positive feedback as necessary
– Daily check in with Management and Shift-Leads, ensuring Shift-Leads are up to date on all necessary information
– Setup cuppings and on-the-fly education opportunities for baristas daily
– Delegate tasks to Shift-Leads and baristas as needed/possible (Collaborate with Shift-Leads)
– Take stock of all prep items and prep or delegate them as needed (Collaborate with Shift-Leads)

*Weekly/Admin*

– Attend and engage in weekly meetings with Management
– Take inventory for entire cafe weekly, working with Management as needed
– Receive and organize newly received products
– Oversee dialing-in of new coffees, coffee changes, menu switches, and daily coffee QC
– Clean and maintain equipment weekly (Clean grinders, maintain Mavams, change gas tank, etc.)
– Take and record TDS of all coffees and water outlets weekly
