Join Our Team at Sweet Sundays Cafe
At Sweet Sundays Cafe, we are passionate about creating memorable experiences for every guest. We are seeking two Lead Baristas/Shift Leads who share our love for coffee, hospitality, and the vibrant pace of a busy café.

About the Role
As a Lead Barista and/or Shift Lead, you will bring excellent customer service, a strong enthusiasm for coffee, and a willingness to learn through our ongoing training and education programs. To qualify, you must hold a valid Food Handler’s certification.
Schedule & Availability
Full-time positions: 30+ hours per week.

Shifts: Primarily 7–9 hours.

Weekend availability required: all staff must be available at least one day, with preference for candidates who can work Friday through Monday (5-day availability ideal).

Operating hours: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

Compensation
Competitive hourly wage: $16 – $19.50, based on experience. + tips.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for 9+ hours.
Lift up to 25-30 lbs.
Comfort with stairs and ladders.
Must be able to hear audible cues and taste coffee.
Frequent use of hands and wrists for repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities:
Operate an espresso machine to prepare a variety of coffee drinks.
Assist in sandwich making (experience is a plus).
Turn orders correctly and efficiently.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Follow instructions and maintain a clean work environment.
Stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Requirements:
Food handler’s license.
Punctuality and organizational skills.
Friendly and personable attitude.
Creative approach to coffee and service.
Additional Information:
Hours vary from 20-25 per week.
Possibility to grow into a full-time position.
Punctuality is a must.

Cook Position
Are you an experienced and professional cook looking for a part-time opportunity in a vibrant local cafe? Our East Flatbush cafe is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Utilize a professional oven and stove for cooking.
Organize and manage prep days for patties, pastries, and sandwiches.
Execute menu items as instructed by the restaurant chef.
Ensure quick turnaround of orders.
Collaborate with the front end of the cafe.
Maintain a high level of customer service.
Adhere to a professional dress code.
Requirements:
Food handler’s license.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Punctual and organized.
Capability to lift 25 lbs.
Excellent instruction-following skills.
Creative culinary skills are a plus.
