POSITION: LEAD BARISTA

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Barista to join my team at Cafe Ambrosia New York. As the Lead Barista, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers while leading and mentoring our barista team.

Need to:
* Be able listen and follow business policies to a T. This is very important.
* Know how to make latte art.
* Be clean, and able to clean properly at closing.
* Be on time.

Responsibilities:

– Oversee daily café operations and ensure all drinks are prepared to our high standards.
– Train and mentor baristas on coffee preparation, customer service, and café procedures.
– Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including equipment.
– Create a positive, engaging atmosphere for both customers and staff.
– Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally.
– Collaborate with management to develop and implement new drinks and promotions.
– Monitor and uphold coffee quality and presentation standards.

Qualifications:

– Minimum 5 years of experience as a barista, with leadership experience preferred.
– Passion for coffee and knowledge of various brewing methods and coffee origins.
– Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
– Basic knowledge of café equipment maintenance.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

POSITION: PART-TIME BARISTA

Join our team at Cafe Ambrosia New York as a Part-Time Barista. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about coffee and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages.
– Provide excellent customer service and create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
– Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations.
– Handle cash and process transactions accurately.
– Assist in inventory management and stock supplies when necessary.

Qualifications:

– 2 plus years experience as a barista.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
– Basic knowledge of café equipment maintenance.
– Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
– Willingness to learn and develop coffee brewing skills.
– Willingness to always learn, grow and improve.
