Job Description

Ludy Café is looking for an experienced lead barista with a strong background in specialty coffee. The ideal candidate is motivated to grow the brand, has a positive attitude, and excels under pressure. They should have experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, take pride in hospitality, and maintain high standards of quality. Knowledge of coffee origins, processes, and extraction methods is essential, as well as the ability to train other employees. This person should be ready to take on the responsibility of running the shop, building the team and culture, and engaging with the community.

We are looking for:
-At least 2 years of experience in high-volume, high-quality specialty coffee
-Experience in a management/leadership role
-Experience dialing-in espresso and filter for a rotating menu of coffees
-Build seasonal coffee menu, update or change
-Manage and maintain inventory levels of key items
-Ability to hire, train and lead new employees
-Excellent communication and multitasking skills
-Exceptional service for customers and community
-High level of initiative and motivation to grow the brand
-Food Handlers Certificate a plus
-Available to work at least 4 days a week, including weekend shifts
