Job Description

Nobletree Coffee is recruiting experienced baristas for leadership positions at our flagship World Trade Center café. We are looking for dynamic and outgoing personalities with a passion for craft and exceptional heads-up hospitality. Help design and execute personal coffee experiences in a high-volume environment, and teach others how to do so on our Modbar espresso and pourover systems. Nobletree baristas also frequently step away from the bar to represent the company in a full calendar of industry events and food festivals. Opportunities for advancement abound in this fast-growing company.

Nobletree is an innovative coffee brand of Farmers, Roasters, and Baristas based in Brooklyn, NY with two award-winning coffee farms and a milling and export operation in Brazil. Nobletree’s team of coffee industry professionals oversees the journey of each bean, from its growing conditions, to harvesting, roasting, and distribution, cultivating a story that is directly tied to the origin of the cup, from Soil-to-Sip. A collection of micro-lots carefully curated from notable coffee producing countries round out the worldly, aromatic portfolio. Nobletree is a proud member of the FAL Coffee family.

 

We are looking for candidates with proven management potential and immediate availability who are ready to take the lead on a new coffee experience.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiasm for making people’s days better
  • Punctuality and attention to detail
  • 1+ years of specialty coffee leadership experience (dialing in espresso, latte art, knowledge of manual brewing)
  • A passion for storytelling; ability to convey the Soil-to-Sip story that makes Nobletree Coffee unique
  • Comfortable working closely with a small team in a high-energy and fast-paced setting
  • Weekend and mornings/nights availability required
  • NYC Food Protection Certificate (or interest in obtaining one) a plus
  • Familiarity with Modbar espresso system a plus
  • Ability to travel to Red Hook and the World Trade Center
