LOLLINO is an Italian Gelateria and Espresso bar concept that was born in Milan and made its first impact in the US. Lollino first opened in January 2015 under Gelato Giusto name.  It’s a place to enjoy haute-gelato (very high quality) and Italian products, in a sophisticate yet friendly environment in West Chelsea.

We are seeking an experienced barista who is passionate about coffee, gelato and Italian food culture. Qualified candidates should have experiences in customer service and be able to handle a fast paced work environment with expertise and efficiency. Must have a positive attitude.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in English, clear written and verbal communication skills
• Must have Department of Health Food Handler Certificate. 
• Ideal candidate will have Previous food and beverage experience as a barista, counter staff, or serving assistant capacity. Must be comfortable communicating and interacting with customers.
• Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction
• Has a sincere interest in the hospitality industry
• Must be professional, clean and neat.
• Must be able to stand for duration of shift and committed to working assigned schedule.
• Must be able to get to work on time, willing and able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old. 

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the below:

• Ensuring products are consistent with quality standards

• Upholding efficient, accurate service, and positive guest relations 

• Preparing and serving menu items to customers to include: gelato, coffee, tea, espresso drinks, etc.

• Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment 

• Maintaining and upholding our company’s vision and values

• Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn

• Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties 

• Exhibiting a familiarity with daily menus

• Participating in service/culinary education sessions

We are looking to fill this position immediately. Candidate must be available to start right away and able to work weekends. Please only serious candidates should apply. Seeking Part Time personnel.

salary $13.50 per hour + tips
