Full-Time Looking for a head barista for a new cafe Ridgewood, Queens

Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate full-time head barista and also part-time baristas.  We are a new café opening up in Ridgewood Queens, specializing in espresso drinks, and offering spanish-mediterranean churros, breakfast, and lunch.

We have developed hot chocolate, specialty lattes and non-dairy milk recipes that coordinate with our food menu. That being said, we’d love to find someone interested in developing their own, seasonal, recipes!

There is room for growth and development and if you’re looking for a  part time job at a café with great chill vibes, there is also room for that.

Barista Duties:

  • Preparing Coffee Drinks (espresso and cold brew), Specialty Lattes, Hot Chocolate, and Tea
  • Cleanliness of the work space
  • POS service
  • Maintenance of machine and grinder
  • Attend coffee training

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of barista and/or café experience a must
  • Exceptional communication and hospitality skills
  • Passionate about specialty coffee and tea
  • NYC Food Safety Handlers Certificate is a plus
