Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced manager for CADET, a new coffee shop opening soon in Greenpoint. CADET will be a high-end shop focused on single-origin specialty coffee from top roasters around the world.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, solid barista and food service experience, and a real passion for hospitality and quality. You’ll play a key role in launching the shop, building the team, and setting the tone for day-to-day operations.

What we’re looking for:
• Experience managing in a café, restaurant, or similar setting
• Skilled in barista service and light food prep
• Confident with scheduling, inventory, and daily ops
• Experience with hiring / human resources
• Calm, organized, and great with people
• Excited to help build a thoughtful, high-standard café from the ground up

What you’ll do:
• Oversee daily operations and lead the team
• Support hiring, training, and scheduling
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and welcoming space
• Ensure consistency, quality, and strong team culture

Pay will be above average.
