We are looking for a Manager to run our new Brooklyn location that will be focussed on coffee and hospitality.

All our Managers are coffee superstars with their number one priority to ensure the success of our baristas and kitchen staff so an understanding of Spanish and kitchen / baking experience would be great and they love our customers and ensure a wonderful coffee experience every interaction.

To succeed in this role you must have a good handle on HR and have the ability to communicate effectively with your staff. Our ideal is someone who has managed a coffee business with food and or a restaurant. You must have a good working knowledge of coffee, and a palate, as you will be expected to taste and quality control drinks (after further training if required).

Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure customer service and quality coffee
* HR for store employees and all kitchen employees
* Hire, train, and manage all employees so that they are happy, safe and are continually performing at their best
* Manage the schedule for optimization and labor costs
* Educate and inspire staff ensuring amazing customer service and quality coffee (NOTE: you do not have to be a coffee professional just a love and willingness to learn is enough)
* Drive sales for growth, we sell more than just coffee…
* Manage inventory and offerings
* Work with key stakeholders including Landlord
* Manage the maintenance and smooth running of the facility including technology, utilities, security, trash
* Control store services and COG’s you will be working to a budget
* DOH inspections for an A everytime

Required experience/skills:
* 3 years management experience
* Speciality coffee experience preferred
* Spanish speaking a plus
* Great project management skills
* Ability to start and finish a project
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to juggle multiple issues at once
* Previous experience with Square inventory and scheduling preferred.

Our Managers go on to great things, we look to our Managers to join our Management team in wholesale including Education, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Roasting and Operations.

Schedule is Tuesday – Saturday, 8am – 4pm, but our Managers are expected to keep the store staffed and operating during business hours, so covering shifts may be necessary and opening and closing the store will be required. This store will have an Associate Manager Sunday through Thursday and a Kitchen lead.

This new store is opening in January we would like to commence training with the new Manager in December.
