Our story began in 2012 with an unwavering commitment to sourcing and roasting quality coffee. Since then, our partnerships with farmers, producers, baristas, roasters, businesses, and customers have helped us grow and nurture a shared coffee culture and experience.

Our Managers work on bar, lead our team, and manage a large ordering process in a beautiful store, with incredible coffee. Our Managers are responsible for placing orders, scheduling, controlling inventory, opening/closing the café, inspiring the staff, and driving sales. Our Brooklyn store now has a market and sells a lot of food so having a restaurant or kitchen background a plus – as is fluency in Spanish. Knowledge of ordering apps and having good IT and problem solving skills is essential.

We are reopening our 2 UrbanSpace city cafes located at 42nd and Vanderbilt and W 52nd Street. We are looking for a manager but are hiring baristas and shiftleads as well. We intend to reopen in May.

Qualifications
o At least one-year experience in a management role (you must have run a cafe and or restaurant)
o Tuesday – Saturday schedule
o Knowledge and understanding of brew methods, extraction, and latte art
o Warm, engaged customer service

o Ability to work on your feet 6-8 hours a day, lift 30lbs and climb stairs
o NYC Food Handler’s Card
o Experience with Square, When I Work, Door Dash, Uber Eats, Postmates, TryOtter, and or Google Docs would be great
