Job Description

Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters is currently hiring Managers, Assistant Managers and Shift Leads to join our team at Brooklyn, Flatiron and the West Village. Experience is necessary. Availability to work either Saturday or Sunday and must have experience opening and closing a shop. The skills you need:

  • Genuinely love making and talking about coffee
  • Are capable of providing excellent and friendly customer service
  • Are detail-oriented, focused and able to multi-task
  • Have a desire to train, learn and grow
  • Are well presented and can turn up to work on time
  • Must be able to prepare espresso, latte art and pour overs
  • Must be able to create schedules
  • Must have your Food Handlers Certificate

Please note you will need to be able to climb ladders, carry cold brew kegs and lift boxes of dry goods to complete your duties when restocking.

Compensation: $13-20 depending on experience, certain other benefits after certain milestones, including vacation and sick leave as well as health insurance.
