What We’re Looking For:

Clean Market is opening a cafe within its flagship retail location in NYC. We’re looking for part-time team members who have a passion for health and wellness, possess a positive can-do attitude, and are interested in helping others feel good on a daily basis.  Food and Beverage experience is a must.

Key Responsibilities: 

•Prepares and presents food & beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards.

•Maintains a clean and safe working environment according to regulations.

•Records and accurately processes purchases using the POS system.

•Provides exceptional customer service to all guests in every scenario.

•Executes daily schedule, opening & closing procedures, and assigned shift tasks as directed by leadership.

•Shares valuable store and customer feedback with leadership to make improvements in the success of the store.

•Assists with special events as assigned.

•Assists with inventory management- receiving shipments and putting away stock in an organized fashion.

•Welcomes all customers into the store with a warm and friendly greeting.

•Builds rapport with customers by recommending products and services that best suit their needs.

•Shares product knowledge with passion and integrity.

•Encourages customers to return to the store for another visit, service, product, or event.

 Requirements: 

•High school diploma or equivalent

•2+years experience in food and/ beverage preparation is preferred

•Basic knowledge of food service procedures, functions, and safety

•Basic computer knowledge

•Passion for health and wellness and willingness to learn

•Excellent relationship building and communication skills

•Exceptional time management and decision making skills

•Ability to thrive in a fast- paced, rapidly evolving environment

•Ability to lift up to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
