Cafe Devocion is the leading Colombian boutique coffee company. We are opening our first Roaster/coffee shop in the USA in September, at 69 grand street in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Our master roaster will have around 15 different types of Colombian coffees, all coming from rare and secluded areas around Colombia,  and will have the chance to roast exclusive fresh beans  in our 25 kilo probat roaster (all of our coffees are 10 to 30 days old green beans compared to  3 – 12 months old green beans which is the industry standard in the US).

Requirments

• Is completely in love with coffee.
• At least 2-3 years roasting in a drum roaster (preferably probat).
• Positive attitude…always willing to learn and teach.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Honest.
• Work well in a team.
• Focused and able to multitask.
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of the specialty coffee industry (washed and non washed Arabica coffees).
• Experience in cupping
• Experience with all extraction methods.
• Management of green coffee, inventory, organizing and maintaining cleanliness
• Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance of a probat roaster. (not a requirement but will pay more for experience)
• Assist in production and perform other duties as assigned
• Must be able to lift 25 kilo.

Compensation

• We pay anywhere from $30,000 to $46,000 yearly based on experience.
