THE COMPANY:
At Pushcart Coffee we are not just a coffee shop; we make the neighborhood a better place. Yes, we brew some seriously awesome (Stumptown) coffee and make some mean muffins, soups, and sandwiches, but if we stopped there, we’d be just another coffee shop, and you’d be just another barista (and we know you’re more than that). Our success is built on four related pillars: we are (1) a collegial, friendly, and respectful work environment of interesting and intelligent people, (2) a shop that serves awesome carefully crafted coffees (3) a place for local micro-entrepreneurs to sell and refine their products, and (4) a community meeting place for neighbors to gather, collaborate, and grow closer.

THE POSITION:
Full and Part-time position on espresso bar, and behind cash.. We expect and encourage our staff to be doing other things in life besides work for us. You bring more to the table and make our shop better. Lots of opportunities to learn and get involved with exciting new business projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carefully crafting awesome espresso drinks and coffees with attention to detail
Being your outgoing, positive, and thoughtful self
The usual cleaning and stocking and keeping things neat that goes along with working in a coffee shop

REQUIREMENTS:
Desire to learn more about coffee and the process of preparing it, there is always more to learn and ways to improve
Leadership mentality
Must be proactive
Experience in a specialty coffee shop
Must be available weekends
Outgoing demeanor
Ability to multi-task 
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep your calm
College degree preferred
