Full-Time New TriBeCa Cafe seeks experienced and new baristas & cashiers

Job Description

Our brand new specialty cafe in TriBeCa, NYC is looking for experienced Baristas and Cashiers to become cornerstones of the cafe’s success.  Those candidates with no experience who are passionate about coffee and working in a cafe will receive intensive barista and cashier training. Our cafe comes in a small package with a beautiful interior and great equipment.  It is located in a very tight knit neighborhood -so you will be seeing regular customers on a daily basis and building connections in the community as you represent our brand.

We are looking for honest, dependable candidates with a friendly and positive can do attitude who welcome people in with a genuine smile and provide efficient, excellent and personal service to join our team.
Baristas who have experience managing the workflow demand of a busy bar while delivering beautifully crafted drinks will thrive with us.  Knowing how to adjust the espresso to taste as well as pour latte art will be key.  Other coffee brewing methods will be employed, as well.  There is opportunity to grow toward a Management position.
Cashiers are often the first point of contact for customers.  We are looking for vibrant and confident candidates. Cashiers should be able perform the responsibility of running the register efficiently, as well as making cash deposits.  You will also need to help with serving baked goods as well as serving and brewing coffee.  Some coffee experience would be great- perfect position for someone looking for an opportunity to grow in the coffee industry and get trained on bar.  There is opportunity to grow toward a management position.
Pay commensurate to experience + Tips.
Part Time and Full Time available.
