Silence Please is dedicated to crafting high-end analog speakers that emphasize the true value of sound in its purest form. Our cafe offers the highest quality matcha, tea, coffee and pastries alongside immersive listening experiences.

We are seeking a Part-Time Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for music and matcha, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Must be available on weekends.

Responsibilities:
– Prepare and serve high-quality matcha, espresso drinks and teas
– Provide attentive customer service answering any questions about the menu as necessary
– Take orders accurately and handle cash/card transactions
-Maintain cleanliness of the café, including counters, equipment, and seating areas
– Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:
– Previous barista or food service experience
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
– Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends
– Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Compensation:
– $20 an hour plus tips
