Loved Ones Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster and cafe located in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.

Loved Ones is seeking part-time baristas who are interested in continuing to provide a high-level of personalized and friendly service that our customers have come to expect. We are seeking baristas with at least 2 years of specialty coffee experience, especially in a high-volume setting. We are seeking good human beings who enjoy engaging with our community, while also committing to serve damn good coffee.

Duties and responsibilities (this is a generalized list and non-exhaustive. Other duties may be required as part of business operations):
● Greet and interact with customers when they enter the store.
● Take orders, including offering menu recommendations and noting dietary restrictions and customizations.
● Build relationships with customers while promoting and recommending menu items.
● Operate coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
● Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, and teas.
● Serving food items such as pastries, cookies, and more.
● Restock supplies, such as cups, lids, coffee beans, syrups, milks, and other frequently used service items.
● Keep the work environment and cafe seating area clean, sanitary, organized, and free of potential hazards.
● Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning and inventory tasks (depending on the day and time of your shift).

Physical Demands
● Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear.
● Frequently required to use hand-to-finger motions, handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
● Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
● Regularly required to handle hot food and beverages.
