Part-Time Barista — Customer service oriented Chinatown Cafe

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly barista to join our team at an independent NYC café.

Schedule

– 3-4 days per week
– 8-hour shifts, 24 hours per week
– Consistent schedule to be agreed upon, one weekend day minimum required

Responsibilities

– Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea and other beverages
– Provide friendly, efficient customer service
– Operate the POS and handle orders
– Maintain cleanliness, restock supplies and follow food-safety procedures

Qualifications

– Previous barista experience preferred
– Comfortable operating an espresso machine and steaming milk
– Dependable, punctual and detail-oriented
– Able to work independently during busy periods
– Knowledge of Chinatown ideal but not required

Compensation: $17–$19/hour depending on experience, plus tips.
