Hello! We are an independently owned third wave coffee shop in Bed-Stuy serving fair trade coffee and local pastries looking for an experienced barista to start immediately.

Part-time position available consisting of 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends.

Applicants should have a serious love and knowledge of coffee as well as a pleasant and engaging personality.

Requirements:

– Minimum of 1-year recent barista experience

– NY Food Handlers Certification

– Understanding of pulling espresso (we have a LM Strada MP) and proficiency at latte art

– Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task

Above all we are looking for a barista with excellent customer service skills, who has the ability to move quickly through drinks while maintaining their quality and consistency as well as a clean environment.
