Full-Time Production and Delivery Support Associate
Job Description
Parlor seeks a Production and Delivery Support Associate to support our roastery operations and ensure the timely delivery of our product to local wholesale accounts throughout the five boroughs. Parlor Coffee’s mission is to continuously elevate coffee within our own backyard as well far beyond our roastery doors, and we do so by coupling a detail-oriented, creative approach with earnest effort each and everyday. We are seeking a candidate dedicated to these values to fulfill the role.
When you’re in the roastery, your attention to detail and ability to work as a part of the team will be essential to fulfillment of our company mission, and when you’re on the road, your ambassadorship embodies that same mission. You will work with our General Manager and Production Manager to organize and execute local deliveries. Of note, you are courteous and considerate, understanding that your regular interaction with our customers is a reflection upon our brand.
Core Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver:
Deliver coffee, supplies, and equipment to Parlor’s NYC accounts throughout the week
Facilitate feedback as necessary between accounts and Parlor team
Communicate promptly, effectively and respectfully with all accounts and members of the Parlor team
Maintain functionality and cleanliness of Parlor’s delivery vehicles
Exercise strict adherence to NYC parking and traffic regulations
Support Parlor with assistance for special events as necessary
Report directly to General Manager
As a Production Assistant:
Assemble product packaging accurately and efficiently
Package roasted coffee
Prepare, pick, and pack orders for local delivery as well as shipments for USPS, FedEx, and UPS
Assist in maintaining roastery cleanliness and orderliness
Assist in maintaining inventory of production-related materials
Report to Production Manager
Qualifications
Ability to work as a team player in a fast pace environment

Thorough and urgent execution of work
Unwavering attention to detail
Dependability and strong communication skills
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record – necessary to be able to procure insurance / drive our van to fulfill the duties of the job
Ability to lift up to fifty pounds continuously throughout the day
Minimum of one year in a delivery position preferred
New York City residents; knowledge of city’s layout preferred
Must be available for Sunday – Thursday, three days in production and two days on delivery routes
Commitment to working safely including adhering to COVID protocols
Compensation
This is an hourly, full-time position. Must be available 5 days per week. Pay begins at $20/hr. Benefits are available after 60 days to all full-time employees.
