JOB TITLE: Production Assistant
REPORTS TO: Production Manager

JOB SUMMARY

This role is focused on packaging roasted coffee and preparing the finished product for shipping. You will also assist with tasks required to complete SEY Coffee’s daily production within a focused and team-oriented environment. This position is currently for Mondays, Tuesdays, and the first Wednesday of every month. We provide free coffee, paid half hour for lunch, and an employee discount on retail coffee and pastries. This position pays $20/hour.

REQUIREMENTS

·Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 lb unassisted.

·Ability to regularly lift and carry 155 lb with another person.

·Receiving of bulk freight, including green coffee shipments and other materials.

·Ability to work on feet for most of the day in a hot environment.

·Ability to perform repetitive hand motions such as, but not limited to: filling bags, folding boxes, stickering bags, putting bags into boxes.

·Cleaning and maintenance of the space.

·Coverage of other warehouse functions as required.
