Job Description

Our Long Island City, Queens roasting space is looking for a Production Assistant to help with our roasting days. This will be a part-time role and great for someone already active and engaged in the coffee community.
Product Assistant duties include:
– 8 – 10 hours a week (Typically broken out to two weeknights (Tuesday, Thursday) and Saturday morning)
– Creating and boxing 12oz retail bags for Amazon
– Weighing green coffee and helping the Head Roaster keep track of the daily production
– Accurately blending coffees based on our current recipes
– Managing current inventory at the roaster and flagging any coffee that needs to be reordered
What we are looking for:
– Coffee industry experience (not required but preferred)
– Ability to lift 50lbs & spend extended time standing
– Superior organization skills, keeps a neat workspace and is a critical thinker
– Desire to learn about coffee, and the coffee supply chain

The above role is for $15/hr
