Bluestone Lane, New York’s premier coffee experience, is on the lookout for a passionate, and energetic Production assistant to join the team.

Bluestone Lane is an Australian inspired, primarily New York based café and coffee brand (but fast expanding around the US!) that makes a difference to our Locals’ daily ritual, every day.

The Production Assistant is the Head Roaster and Fulfilment Manager’s right hand. As part of the roastery team, the Production Assistant will learn how to consistently and accurately package coffee, prepare customer shipments, assess coffee quality and maintain a clean and efficient production space.

The ideal candidate:

  • Prepare for roasting of coffee beans and assist the Head Roaster
  • Package coffee beans in accordance with Bluestone Lane recipes
  • Prepare packaging areas and maintain production standards
  • Accept and dispatch shipments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Have incredible attention to detail
  • Ensure all orders are filled, packed and shipped efficiently and quickly
  • Performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleaning of production equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace conducive to efficient work processes inclusive of restrooms and windows
  • Pack coffee beans efficiently and accurately

To be considered, you will possess

  • One years’ experience in production in a similar industry is preferred, however not essential
  • Fast moving and focused while working
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
