Full-Time Production Assistant

Job Description

Devoción is hiring for full-time and part-time coffee production assistants at our flagship roastery in Williamsburg. The primary purpose of this role is the preparing and packaging all of our coffees products in a meticulous and timely fashion, and to assist our Master Roaster.

One year of warehouse or coffee experienced is preferred. Candidates should have a passion for coffee, be organized with an eye for detail, be extremely hard-working and should be excited to work on a team. Must able to lift boxes weighing 55 lbs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Preparing packaging materials for shipping
Labeling of bags and boxes
Order fulfillment for coffee orders
Ensuring all orders are filled, packed and shipped
Communicating inventory levels with the Production Manager
Performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleaning of production equipment

 

Devoción is the only farm fresh coffee roaster in the country. Every week we FedEx green beans from Colombia just 10 days after dry milling and roast them on site in our 25-kilo Probat roaster in Williamsburg.
