Roasting: Production Assistant / Delivery

Joe Coffee is looking for a dedicated Production Assistant / Delivery Driver at our roasting facility in Red Hook, Brooklyn. This is can be either a full or part time position. Pack it, deliver it, work with a great team!

As a Production Assistant / Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for deliveries of coffee orders and merchandise to our various Joe locations in NY and Philadelphia. On non-delivery days, you will provide support to the Production team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver coffee orders and merchandise to all 11 locations in NY and Philadelphia including orders to our various wholesale accounts
• Must be very detail-oriented and a team player
• Duties include but not limited to operation of packing machine, scales, heat sealers, metro shelves, able to decipher spreadsheets and production reports, detailed fulfillment of orders
• Must be organized and efficient

Requirements:

• Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Knowledge of NYC roads is preferred
• Flexible scheduling is preferred and should be available to work weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

$13.50 to start, with the opportunity to increase wage based on work performance. Health and dental insurance offered to full-time employees.
