Joe Coffee is looking for a dedicated Production Assistant/ Delivery Driver at our roasting facility in Red Hook Brooklyn. This is a part time position with the possibility of turning into a full time position. While the job may or may not lead to a roasting position, working in the roasting facility will give you access to the roasting process to help further your education and hone your coffee palate. Pack it, deliver it, work with a great team!

As a Production Assistant/ Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for deliveries of coffee orders and merchandise to our various Joe locations in New York and Philadelphia. On non-delivery days, you will provide support for the production team.

Responsibilities:
– Deliver coffee orders and merchandise to all 11 locations in New York and Philadelphia
– Must be very detail-oriented and a team player
-Duties include but not limited to operation of scales, heat sealers, metro shelves, able to decipher spreadsheats and production reports, detailed fulfillment of orders.
-Must be organized and efficient.

Requirements:
-Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-Knowledge of NYC roads is preferred
-Flexible scheduling is preferred and should be available to work weekends.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Paid hourly, with the opportunity to increase wage based on work performance
