Joe Coffee Company is looking for a dedicated part time Production Assistant at our roasting facility in Red Hook Brooklyn. While the job may or may not lead to a roasting position, working in the roasting facility will give you access to the roasting process to help further your education and hone your coffee palate. Pack it, deliver it, work with a great team!

As a Production Assistant, you will be responsible for deliveries of coffee orders and merchandise to our various Joe locations in New York and Philadelphia. On non-delivery days, you will provide support for the production team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver coffee orders and merchandise to all 12 Joe retail locations in New York and Philadelphia
• Deliveries include wholesale accounts in addition to our retail locations
• Must be very detail-oriented and a team player
• Duties include but not limited to operation of scales, heat sealers, metro shelves, able to decipher spreadsheets and production reports, detailed fulfillment of order
• Must be organized and efficient.

Requirements:

• Flexible scheduling is preferred and should be available to work weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Paid hourly, with the opportunity to increase wage based on work performance and history
