Job Description

Part-time production associate needed for wholesale packing days. We are hiring for ONE DAY a week, Thursday’s from 8:30am-1:00pm depending on how heavy or light orders are. We work out of the Shared Roasting space in Bushwick. This is a 1099 contractor job. This job will potentially be expanding in tasks and number of days in the near future as we are opening our own roastery in the coming months.

Ideal candidate:
Hard-working and diligent, hands-on approach while adapting to on the fly changes.
Attention to detail.
Able to lift 60lbs unassisted and 60lbs+ with assistance.
Problem solving and a positive attitude is very important.
Works efficiently, but carefully.
Quick learner in understanding systems.
Familiar with Google Sheets is a plus but not required.
Has coffee production experience is a plus but not required.

Core Responsibilities:
Fill wholesale coffee bags and pack into labeled boxes for each account while paying close attention to detail.
Palletize boxes for pickup and ensure fulfillment is accurate for wholesale accounts.

Salary:
$20/hour to start, with performance-based raises
