Job Description

Partners Coffee in Brooklyn New York is looking for a Production Manager to manage and motivate our production team so that our team feels supported and able to work to their potential.  We have an incredible team of coffee professionals to work with you and you will work closely with Operations, Roasters, Supply Chain and Customer Service.  Your goal is to ensure that our products ship daily without delay.  

Partners roasts a lot of coffee, so this is a high performing role, and we need someone committed to the pace.  You will be required to work the line with the team, schedule and manage staff, and communicate with all departments.

To do this role you need to have been a Manager of a team of no less than 10.  You need an excellent understanding of scheduling and inventory management.  You need to have excellent quality control skills and be able to plan, as well as solve problems. 

This role has excellent scope for increased roles and responsibilities and promotion.  We pride ourselves in building coffee careers at Partners.

Requirements
• Reaching with hands and arms
• Standing up to 10 hours per day
• Walking throughout site
• Lifting up to 50lbs throughout the day
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
• Hearing and the ability to perceive mechanical sound cues
• Repetitive physical movements of the hands and wrists throughout the day
• NY Drivers license would be great
• Forklift experience would be great

Hours of work are 8am – 4:30pm – Saturday through Wednesday position, which might change depending on production requirements.  This is a non-exempt role, so any hours over 40 you will receive overtime. Starting wage is $25 per hour.
