Job Title: Production Manager

Irving Farm is looking for a talented Production Manager to join our team in Millerton, NY. Our Production Manager oversees all aspects of production from packaging of orders to the quality of our coffee.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Manage (plan, organize, oversee) daily roasting, bagging and shipping of daily coffee
orders
-Manage (hire, train, schedule, supervise, coach, discipline, etc.) roasting and
production team members
-Manage customer service around orders and shipping
-Work with account management team and shipping partners to resolve shipping related issues
-Ensure facility and process compliance with all local, state and federal safety/health regulations
-Ensure that all manufacturing permits and licenses are up to date
-Work with Head of QC to ensure all products meet recipe, freshness and overall quality specifications
-Oversee production and distribution processes and ensure order fulfillment happens in a timely manner
-Manage inventory of necessary production supplies, equipment and materials
-Oversee maintenance of all production equipment in compliance with manufacturer recommendations
-Oversee maintenance of production facility and grounds
-Oversee and manage relationship with shipping, distribution and vendor partners

Qualifications:

Required
2+ years in production facility management or relevant experience
2+ years employee management experience
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
Ability to stand and work on your feet for long periods of time up to 8 hours
Ability to operate coffee production equipment
Ability to operate a computer

Preferred
1+ years in coffee industry
Forklift certification
Experience with Quickbooks
Coffee roasting experience

Salary and Position Details:
Annual salary $60K-70K DOE
Access to company health plan after first 90 days with 50% employer contribution
Access to company 401k plan after 1 year with employer matching up to 4%
Ten days PTO annually after first 90 days
This is a full time salaried-exempt position
Reports to CEO
