Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and hardworking part time employee to join our team. Must be able to work the entire shift which is: 10 AM-6PM. Our hours will be changing soon, but this is the current shift time. Must be able to work Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Sun. Looking to fill immediately.

You will be responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers. Tasks include, but are not limited to: taking orders, making drinks, making crepes, salads, paninis, prep work, washing dishes, etc.

-Have experience working in a cafe/quick service restaurant

-Know how to use an espresso machine (manual La Marzocco) , familiar with how to make different espresso based drinks (previous barista experience would be ideal) (ex: lattes. cappuccinos). Latte art is a plus!

-Live in the Brooklyn/Bedstuy area

-Have a NY State Food handler’s permit (ideal)

-Be neat, timely, proactive, pick things up quickly!

-Have cashier and PoS experience

-Free meal and drink provided every shift

$13.50/hour
