Job Description

Toby’s Estate is a coffee roastery and cafe based in Williamsburg. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality coffee that is roasted in house.  We offer a full immersive coffee retail experience and you need to love and know coffee to run our store. The cafe serves coffee, tea, chocolate and bakery items and also runs a small kitchen.

Required skills are:

*  minimum 3 years experience managing a specialty coffee store
*  certificate in food protection
*  proficent in single cup brew methods including being able to make espresso based drinks – must be able to work on bar
*  able to manage people, interview potential staff, create schedules, delegate
*  able to manage all ordering of food and supplies for the cafe 
*  amazing foh person, loves people, loves our customers, is friendly, kind and flexible

 Skills we like:

*  Cupping experience
*  Excellent barista, interested in the coffee scene in NYC
*  Competed in barista competitions

Package depends on experience; we wil pay more for better experienced candidates.  2 weeks vacation, sick pay, access to health insurance after certain milestones.  Work week is Sunday to Thursday.
