Abbotsford Road Coffee Specialists is a wholesale specialty coffee roaster based in Brooklyn.

We are currently growing and are looking for our next Team Member.

You as the Roastery Assistant / Delivery Driver will help the specialty coffee team with bagging, packing, shipping, and delivering coffee to our wholesale customers and help maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the roastery.

You have experience in:

Coffee
Customer service
Working in a small, fast paced team
Driving in NYC safely

Benefits & Scheduling:
$20.00 per hour, starting rate
Access to staff Profit Share after first 3 months
8-hour shifts are typical
You will be educated in all aspects of coffee and basic coffee machine tech
Opportunity to grow into a career in specialty coffee

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Successfully pack, handle and deliver packages on time
Provide excellent customer service
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure customer-based duties are completed
Operate semi-auto coffee bagging machine
Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies
Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions
Load and unload packages in the delivery vehicle

Requirements:
At least 21 years old
Must have a NY state driver’s license
Authorized to work in the United States
Must pass a Driver background check
Must have a clean motor vehicle history. (Multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)

Physical Requirements:
Bend and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
Stand / move throughout warehouse for a full shift (8 hours)
Able to get in and out of a delivery van repeatedly throughout a shift at multiple locations
Drive in all weather and light conditions for up to 6 hours
