Now Hiring: Part time Roastery Assistant. This role must be able to work 8am – 5pm Tuesdays in 43 Washington Ave 1st FL, Brooklyn, NY 11205.
The role will scale up in the future. You’ll be involved in roasting, packing, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment is clean and operational. This position is perfect for someone looking to start their journey in specialty coffee and gain valuable production experience.

What You’ll Do
- Support the Roaster in daily roasting operations to maintain consistent profiles and safe practices.
- Prepare green coffee for production; including weighing and organising batches.
- Maintain cleanliness and equipment hygiene in the shared roasting space.
- Assist with weighing, packing, and labelling of roasted and retail coffee.
- Manage stock levels for roasted and retail coffee.
- Assist with sample cuppings and quality control processes.
- Carry out production-related tasks including lifting, boxing, and fulfilling orders.
- Complete ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Coffee Lead.
What We’re Looking For
- Highly organised, efficient, and able to manage workload independently.
- A genuine passion for specialty coffee.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in roast monitoring and packing.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks (e.g., lifting coffee sacks).
- A team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
- Previous experience in production, packing, or coffee is advantageous but not essential.
