Job Description

BPM Roasters is a coffee roasting company based in Yonkers, NY that focuses on sourcing and roasting quality coffee products. We are currently looking for a part time roasting and production assistant to perform tasks in the warehouse related to the roasting and production process.

Responsibilities:

Assist in all aspects of the roasting and processing of coffee and related products for wholesale and ecommerce distribution.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of roasting and production equipment.
  • Assisting in the roasting process: weighing out raw coffee, loading the roaster, discharging the roaster, etc.
  • Weighing, packing and blending whole bean coffee.
  • Preparing products for distribution.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment and facility.

Requirements:

  • Possesses a driver’s license and is able to travel to our facility in Yonkers.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job which includes some heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High school degree.
