We’re looking for an effective, enthusiastic Sales Manager to help increase our market share in NYC.
Any CUPS employee must have these traits:
- Great communication skills. Frequent and clear written communication is a must.
- Self-driven work ethic. You need to be a self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through to completion.
- Curiosity and the desire to learn. Our business is changing and growing fast, who knows what will be the skills of tomorrow? Flexibility is key.
- Thorough and good at “closing” deals
The Sales Manager will…
- Generate leads, place cold calls, send cold emails, or walk in to potential CUPS locations to introduce the CUPS brand
- Correspond and have meetings with business owners/managers in order to sign up more CUPS coffee shop locations.
- Build, manage and maintain a sales pipeline in your targeted market
- Develop a sales strategy and adapt it over time according to a variety of factors
- Serve as an expert on CUPS and the city’s coffee industry
The Ideal Candidate Is…
- An excellent communicator and “people person”
- Able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Available to travel to different coffee shop locations throughout Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and possibly New Jersey.
- Results-oriented, proactive, self-motivated and work well in a team environment
- A true team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Able to act as an expert on the city’s coffee industry and CUPS
- Willing and interested in short-term professional travel
