Employment: Full-time, on site
Compensation: The compensation package includes $90,000/year base salary complemented by a performance-based variable incentive, rewarding the achievement of agreed upon commercial and business development objectives.

Our NYC location is located at 599 Lexington Avenue serving as both a flagship and a growing platform for B2B partnerships, corporate gifting, catering, and our specialty coffee product line, all in service of a simple idea: business can be a force for inclusion.
Joyeux Products US is the specialty coffee distribution business of the same 501(c)(3) Joyeux Foundation US that operates Café Joyeux. We distribute high-quality specialty coffee to businesses and consumers through B2B and B2C channels. As a social product, 100% of profits are directly reinvested into the Foundation’s mission in the United States, creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Position Summary
The Sales Manager, Joyeux Products US will be responsible for driving the commercial growth of our specialty coffee business across the United States. In the initial phase, the role will primarily focus on developing our B2B business, including corporate customers, office coffee programs, corporate gifting, and foodservice distribution partnerships. As the business grows, the Sales Manager will also support the expansion of our B2C channels through digital sales and the Café Joyeux retail experience, building a strong consumer community around our purpose-driven specialty coffee brand.
This role is ideal for a commercially and marketing minded, hands-on salesperson who understands how to build relationships, develop and manage a strategic account pipeline to grow a specialty coffee brand in the U.S. marketplace. The ideal candidate must understand how the US coffee business works from sourcing/ roasting to wholesale pricing structures, and what it takes to win and retain accounts in a competitive, quality-driven category.
The Sales Manager will work closely with Café Joyeux’s Director of Operations to translate Café Joyeux’s mission and brand in the US for sustainable scalable growth through corporate accounts, distribution partnerships, direct to consumer growth and retail placement while supporting Café Joyeux’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Sales & Account Development
• Build and manage current B2B customers and distributors
• Prospect, qualify, and close new customers across offices, corporations, hospitality, foodservice, specialty grocers and gifting.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective wholesale and distribution partners for Café Joyeux coffee
(whole bean, ground, and pods/capsules)
• Develop and grow corporate partnership programs, including corporate gifting, office coffee programs, and volunteer/experience partnerships
• Prepare proposals, pricing, samples, and follow-up materials
• Represent Café Joyeux at trade shows, tastings, and industry events to build brand presence and generate leads
• Track all customer activity in the CRM.
• Support coffee machine placement opportunities where relevant.
• Coordinate with roasting facility/fulfillment, and internal team to ensure smooth customer service.
• Represent Joyeux Products professionally with customers, partners, and industry contacts.
• Monthly sales performance reporting on pipeline and revenue targets
B2C Sales
• Support retail and e-commerce sales growth for the coffee product line
• Work with Director of Operations and Communications lead for print and digital assets
• Help identify new consumer-facing revenue opportunities (subscriptions, retail placement, pop-ups, seasonal offerings)
Category & Market Expertise
• Understanding of U.S. specialty coffee market dynamics: pricing, distributor economics, retail margin structures, and competitive landscape
• Advise on product-market fit for new offerings (e.g., new formats, seasonal products)
• Ability to forecast for supplies and roasting volumes to manage inventory turns
• Gather customer feedback and market insights to help improve products, pricing, and sales materials.
Mission Alignment
• Represent Café Joyeux’s inclusion mission authentically in every sales conversation
• Partner with the Director of Operations and communications team to ensure sales materials and pitch decks reflect both commercial and mission credibility and alignment
Qualifications
• 6+ years of sales, business development, account management, coffee, foodservice, hospitality, CPG, or office services experience.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable selling to businesses and managing multiple customer conversations at once.
• Experience using HubSpot CRM.
• Strong follow-up, organization, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and manage pricing, margins, and customer needs.
• Entrepreneurial, practical, and comfortable in a growing organization.
• Based in New York City area.
Preferred Qualifications
• Existing relationships with NYC-area corporate offices, or coffee distributors
• Experience in specialty coffee, office coffee, foodservice, hospitality, corporate gifting, wholesale sales.
• Existing relationships with offices, foodservice operators, corporate buyers, or hospitality accounts
• Familiarity with Shopify, HubSpot CRM systems, and sales reporting.
• Familiarity with nonprofit or social enterprise business models

• Build a consistent pipeline of qualified B2B coffee prospects.
• Close new recurring coffee customers.
• Increase sales from existing accounts.
• Improve follow-up, CRM discipline, and customer tracking.
• Help Café Joyeux better understand the U.S. coffee sales market.
• Support sustainable growth of Joyeux Products in the U.S.
