Who we are: An independent family-owned company founded in 1994, we are Green Coffee Importers passionate about sourcing and supplying unroasted coffee to the top specialty roasters throughout the United States. We buy coffee from farmers, cooperatives, millers, and exporters in nearly 30 coffee-producing countries in order to supply the needs of our coffee roasting clients. Our office and primary distribution center is located in South Plainfield, NJ; we also distribute from Madison, WI and Jacksonville, FL.

Who you are: A pleasant, energetic and self-motivated sales professional. You will have strong time management, problem solving and creative thinking skills which will help you to identify and service our growing cliental of coffee roasting customers. You will be very detail oriented and feel comfortable multi-tasking. You will also need to be eager to learn new tasks that will aid in the purchasing, sales and marketing of our product.

This is a full-time salaried position with company paid medical and dental benefits, and will include training by our current staff of sales and trading professionals.

Requirements for consideration:

1. Proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.  Additional computer skills in the areas of web production, graphic design and other digital or social media are a plus.
2. Excellent verbal and written skills in English. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
3. Strong organizational, relationship cultivation and customer service skills.
4. A college degree is strongly preferred as well as sales experience.
