About the position

 

Bluestone Lane is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager. In this role, you will support and work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of your café. As AGM, your role is to aid the GM in all aspects of service and store management. This position will be a combination of service and management.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assure excellent customer service at all times;
  • Assist with training and management of staff;
  • Deliver a high-quality table service experience;
  • Ensure staff are abiding by guidelines established by the General Manager;
  • Support the General Manager in necessary administrative tasks;
  • Assist in inventory management.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be passionate about high-quality service and hospitality;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Be a team player whilst demonstrating initiative;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Experience in front of house services and back of house duties such as co-ordination & management, inventory management etc;
  • Knowledge of coffee is preferred but not necessary.
