Job Overview

We’re looking for a passionate, experienced barista to join our team at a woman owned specialty coffee establishment. This role is ideal for someone who loves specialty coffee, has strong latte art skills, and enjoys creating a warm, welcoming experience for guests.

$18/hour + great tips

We especially need support for our Wednesday evening event shifts (around 6–10 pm), plus a 4-5 of additional 6 hour shifts during the week, must be available weekends to help fill scheduling gaps. Open availability Preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare specialty coffee drinks with consistency and care
Create clean, beautiful latte art
Provide warm, attentive customer service to every guest
Support café operations during events and busy service periods
Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar
Follow all food safety and handling standards
Assist with light food service as needed
Help train or support newer team members when needed
Requirements

Prior 3 years min experience as a barista in a specialty café
Strong latte art and La Marzocco espresso skills
Friendly, engaging, and professional customer service
Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy periods
Basic POS and cash-handling experience
Availability for Wednesday evenings (6–10 pm) plus a 4-5 additional 6 hour-shifts per week, open availability preferred
