Service Technician

Summary:
Ensure wholesale customer success, growth and longevity via thorough equipment maintenance, technical service and active promotion of Irving Farm standards and industry expertise.

Role and Responsibilities:
Preventative maintenance routine for wholesale customers;
Clean and calibrate (dialing-in) all coffee grinders, brewers and espresso machines, including setting pump pressure and changing screens and gaskets.
Clean cold brew tap lines.
Change all water filters.
Adjust brew recipes when necessary, program AV (auto-volumetric) equipment.
Help manage the relationship of our wholesale customers and account management with post-maintenance follow-ups and analysis.
Write email reports after each visit detailing all work that was done.
Translate technical reports into a friendly follow-up.
Document equipment information and communicate any problems or observations to the customer’s account manager.
Observe product quality and selection and make thoughtful recommendations for improvement.
Pitch in as necessary to achieve great results.

Wholesale customer success through clean and calibrated equipment leading to high product quality, minimal waste and fast throughput.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in preparing filter and espresso coffee beverages in a specialty coffee environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication, both with customers and co-workers.

Compensation:
$22- 26hr DOE
Transportation Reimbursement
$37.50 for monthly cell phone reimbursement
