Summary: Ensure retail success, growth and longevity via thorough equipment maintenance,
technical service and active promotion of Irving Farm standards and industry expertise

Role and Responsibilities:

● Preventative maintenance routine at all retail locations
○ Clean and calibrate (dialing-in) all coffee grinders, brewers and espresso
machines, including setting pump pressure and changing screens and gaskets
○ Clean cold brew tap lines, repairing faucets when necessary
○ Change all water filters
○ Adjust brew recipes when necessary, program AV (auto-volumetric) equipment

● Help manage the relationship of retail leadership and service with post-maintenance
follow-ups and analysis
○ Write reports after each visit in our project management software detailing all
work that was done
○ Translate technical reports into a friendly follow-up email and notify leadership
of any existing problems and the plan to fix them
○ Document equipment information and communicate any problems or
observations to the service manager

● Utilize resources (retail expertise, service support, training support, production support)
to optimize retail performance
● Observe product quality and selection and make thoughtful recommendations for
improvement. Pitch in as necessary to achieve great results

● Retail store success through clean and calibrated equipment leading to high product
quality, minimal waste and fast throughput

Compensation:
● $18/hr
● Monthly metrocard reimbursement
● $75 monthly cell phone reimbursement
