Our amazing service tech is moving to Seattle!

You need to have already worked as a service technician for a roastery or manufacturer of coffee equipment. You must be able to repair all major espresso machines including Marzocco, Simonelli, Synesso – old machine knowledge is benefit. You need to be able to repair the espresso equipment, hard stuff, not just filters, pumps and steam wands you need to be able to change out the heating elements and electronic systems.

You ned to have a basic knowledge of roasting equipment for basic maintenance. Probat perferably. Need to understand the mechanics and set up of roasting equipment and its basic maintenance including after burners and gas boosters. 

Understand batch brewing equipment, Fetco, Marco, Curtis, etc. As well as understanding and be able to install basic equipment such as water filters, pitcher rinsers, including light carpentry and maintenance. You have to be able to fix any type of grinder, understand its parts and when those parts needs to be replaced. You need to be up to date with New York city plumbing and electrical codes.

You need to be organized. You must manage a tool and parts inventory and also able to keep track of your time for invoicing and administration. As you are visiting our wholesale accounts you need to be friendly, punctual and posses an ability to deal with issues under stressful conditons.

You must be able to drive a car to visit wholesale customers.

Package – Based on your experience. Position is Tuesday to Saturday 8.30 to 5.30pm. 2 weeks vacation, sick pay, and access to health insurance at certain milestones.
