At Partners Coffee we are dedicated to roasting quality coffee and serving our customers to the highest standard. Our ideal is someone who’s passionate about coffee and hospitality and likes a busy cafe. A great coffee experience is our desire for every guest.

We are looking for a Full Time Shift Lead to join the team at our Long Island City cafe who has excellent customer service, a strong interest in coffee, and has a willingness to learn and improve with our education and training.

Full time is 30+ hours a week. We run a mix of 6 and 8 hour shifts. All staff need to be available one day on the weekend. We are looking for team members who are available at a minimum Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The rate is dependent upon experience and ranges between $18-19.25/hr. This role also earns tips.

Responsibilities:

* Providing excellent customer service.
* Crafting beverages to our standard
* Having a good working knowledge of our coffee offerings
* Running shifts through delegation and deployment.
* Maintaining the cafe through busing tables, sweeping, and washing dishes.

We’re looking for someone who:

* Is a team player
* Communicates clearly with team members and management
* Has a love of speciality coffee
* Is knowledgeable on health code and can run a DOH inspection

Requirements:
* NYC Food Handlers card
* The ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours
* Lift up to 30lbs
* Climb stairs and ladders
* Hear audible cues and taste coffee
* You will be engaged in repetitive physical movements of the hands and wrists throughout the day.
