The Wooly Daily is a small yet high volume third-wave coffee shop located in the historic Woolworth Building (Tribeca/Financial District) no more than 3 blocks from the A/C/2/3/R/J/W/4/5/6 trains.

We are currently looking for someone who appreciates the nuance of the coffee world as much as we and our patrons do. We are looking for someone passionate about coffee and the coffee business to help us continue to maintain and build on our reputation for fantastic coffee and great coffee friendly food.

This is a great position for someone that wants to own their own cafe one day and for those seeking the autonomy to put their knowledge into practice.

There will be ample support from the general manager, head chef, and owner as well.

The Job:
• ~4 shifts a week
• Additional admin hours to be discussed
• Point of first contact for staff and greater management
• Maintaining a high degree of excellence in the shop
• Assistance in food and coffee program development
• We are only open during the week, so that leaves your weekends open

You:
• Coffee shop management experience
• Deep knowledge of coffee
• Flexible M-F schedule (we are not open on weekends)
• Experience with inventory, scheduling, etc.
• Experience training staff on coffee procedure

This is a salaried position.
