The Wooly Daily is currently looking for our next Shop Manager to help us maintain and build upon our reputation for fantastic coffee and great coffee friendly food. Someone who appreciates the nuance of the coffee world as much as we and our patrons do.

About the shop:
The Wooly Daily is a small yet high volume third-wave coffee shop located in the historic Woolworth Building (Tribeca/Financial District) no more than 3 blocks from the A/C/2/3/R/J/W/4/5/6 trains. We opened 4 years ago and are still growing. Along with a concise coffee menu featuring Coffee Manufactory from Oakland, CA. We offer a well curated menu of made to order savory food (we have a full kitchen & kitchen staff).
We are open M-F (no weekends!)

The Job:
* Full-time, 5 days a week
* Point of first contact for staff and greater management
* Helping maintain a high standard in drink quality and service
* Assisting General Manager with inventory, scheduling, menu development
* Training new staff to shop standards (extraction, prep, cleaning, etc.)
* Maintaining an upbeat vibe in the shop

You:
* Shift supervisor / lead barista experience
* Knowledge and understanding of contemporary coffee culture
* Experience training staff
* Experience with inventory & logistics is a plus
* General maintenance, troubleshooting & upkeep of equipment is a plus (LaMarzocco, Mazzer, Fetco, Everpure Systems)
* Manhattan barista experience is preferred
* And lastly, a positive attitude & strong work ethic
